Look in the Mirror

from Intimatitudes by Bomethius

/

about

I was, this particular morning, irritated with being alive, and thus verging upon the uncomfortable sound of less accessible Andrew Bird. So I did this. With Charles' actual bird as accompaniment. A piece of many birds, one might say?

lyrics

Do you look in the mirror to see yourself,
Or to make sure you’re properly hidden?

You shouldn't have to look in the mirror... (Look in the mirror.)
Who knows what you will find?
Looking through the glass of your eyes
Are those even your eyes?

Do you look in the mirror to see yourself?
To make sure you're properly
Hidden.
